Lorelei, Bangor

With the constraint of a listed facade to be retained throughout the construction process, we designed 18 apartments all with panoramic views over Bangor's Marina accessed either from the parking area to the rear or basement garages that offer direct access to the central apartment circulation area.These four storey top light voids introduce natural light into the heart of a deep plan building. The front elevation was restored to its original condition with the rear elevation reflecting the contemporary interiors of the apartments whilst using a number of reclaimed natural materials.
